[For Partners] Migrate to Singpass FAPI 2.0 Production Environment by 2026-12-31

Dear Partners,

As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen security standards and align with global security best practices, Singpass is adopting Financial-grade API (FAPI) 2.0 for all APIs, including Login and Myinfo. 

Following the rollout of the Singpass FAPI 2.0 staging environment on 19 January 2026, we are pleased to announce that the Singpass FAPI 2.0 production environment is now available.

What you need to know:

• Mandatory Compliance: All new apps created on the Singpass Developer Portal (SDP) from 11 February 2026 must be FAPI 2.0 compliant. 
• Privacy Enhancements: Requesting a user’s principal name, mobile number, or email in new FAPI 2.0 Login apps will now trigger a user consent screen to ensure transparency to users.
• Commence Migration: Start migrating the following existing apps
  • Login/Myinfo v5: Update the app to ensure your app is FAPI 2.0 compliant
  • Myinfo v3/v4: Duplicate using Migration wizard (Available from 23 February 2026)
  • Compliance deadline: All apps must be FAPI 2.0 compliant by 31 December 2026 to ensure continued access
• Engagement Session: Technical briefing with Q&A will be held in March 2026 to support you in your migration.The briefing materials will be shared after the session.

What you need to do:

1. Review Documentation: Refer to the FAPI 2.0 Integration Guide and the Migration Guide to review the relevant technical information.
2. Submit Migration Timeline & RSVP: Please use this link to indicate your planned migration window for FAPI 2.0 and register for the virtual technical briefings.
   • Date/Time: 24 March 2026, 10am – 12pm
   • Note: Even if you are unable to attend, please complete the form to indicate your migration timeline.
3. Update Contact: Verify your application’s support emails at https://go.gov.sg/sp-poc-update to continue receiving critical updates from Singpass.
