Dear Partners (Sent via bcc to support emails of apps calling IRAS data via Myinfo/Myinfo Business),
We previously informed you via email on 14 July 2025 that IRAS will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from 15 August (10:00AM) to 16 August (11:00AM).
During this maintenance period, digital services that rely on IRAS data—including those using Myinfo and Myinfo Business — will be unable to retrieve IRAS-related information.
For partners whose e-services retrieve IRAS data via Myinfo, the following behavior will occur during the maintenance period.
- When users click the “Retrieve Myinfo with Singpass” button, they will be redirected to the Singpass login page as usual.
After logging in, instead of seeing the consent screen, they will encounter an error message indicating that the service is unavailable. (please see below)
3. Upon clicking the “Go Back” button on the error screen, users will be redirected to your application’s redirect URL with an error response.
4. Partners must handle this error response and redirect users appropriately (e.g. back to a landing page or display a service unavailable message).
Staging Environment Testing:
To help Partners prepare, Singpass will simulate this behavior in the staging environment from
28 July (12:00) (Monday) to 8 August (18:00) (Friday).
We strongly encourage affected e-services to test and ensure your systems can handle the error flow gracefully.
For partners testing NOA retrieval in staging, please note that IRAS data will not be retrievable from 28 July to 8 August 2025.
If you wish to continue testing during this period, please remove the IRAS scopes from your authorisation call.
