The acr_values parameter is used to request a higher level of authentication assurance during the Singpass login flow. However, your Client ID must be whitelisted to use this parameter.
If your Client ID is not whitelisted:
Do not include acr_values in your requests Requests may fail if used without approval
When is acr_values allowed?
Usage is restricted to specific high-risk use cases (e.g. sensitive financial transactions) where higher assurance is required.
All usage must be:
Reviewed and approved by the Singpass team and whitelisted before implementation
Current Status
Onboarding for acr_values is currently paused and is not generally available
We are reviewing the SFV onboarding framework and will reach out to interested parties from Q4 2026 onwards.
