[22 Feb 2025] Upcoming Infrastructure Changes to Singpass Domain - id.singpass.gov.sg (Updates)

Dear Partner,

A communication was sent on 6 Feb 2025 regarding upcoming infrastructure changes in Singpass. This update provides further details on the implementation timeline and highlights key actions required to ensure a smooth transition.

⚡ Key Timelines

The changes will happen on the following dates:

🗓️ Staging

• 24 February 2025 - 11:00 AM

🗓️ Production

• 24 March 2025 - 11:59 PM (2359 hrs)

🚫 Important DON'Ts

❌ Do not pin Singpass’s SSL certificates.

• Certificates are subject to change, and pinning them may cause connectivity failures. Use the system's trust store instead.

❌ Do not whitelist Singpass’s IP addresses.

• Singpass does not guarantee fixed IPs, as they are dynamic and subject to change at any time. Instead, use dynamic DNS resolution.

❌ Do not use outdated or unsupported TLS cipher suites.

• Some older TLS 1.2 cipher suites will no longer be supported. Ensure your system is configured to use approved cipher suites.

✅ Test in Staging

1. Please verify your integration in our staging environment from 24 Feb 2025 onwards to ensure a smooth transition before the production migration.
   1. If you are using our staging Singpass app for testing, please make sure you are using version 25.0.1 or above.
2. This email may not have reached your technical or infrastructure teams directly. Please forward it to your relevant team members to ensure they are aware of these changes and can take the necessary actions.

✅ Confirm readiness

1. Complete the acknowledgement form to confirm your team has tested and prepared for the migration.
