[19 Dec 2025] [Agencies] Continued Support for Myinfo v3 Person-Basic (Government Sector)

Dear Agencies,

Following our earlier communication on migrating from Myinfo v3 to v5, we understand that Myinfo v3 Person-Basic API is an important component for many Government sector services. When we refer to Person-Basic API, we are specifically referring to integrations that call this API endpoint: http://api.myinfo.gov.sg/gov/v3/person-basic/:uinfin

We want to reassure you that Person-Basic API will continue to be supported beyond the Myinfo v3 decommission date.

While we are retiring the legacy Myinfo v3 protocol, we are currently working on a dedicated solution to support the features of Person-Basic API. 

What you need to do

1. No immediate action is required.
2. Please hold off on any migration plans for your Myinfo v3 Person-Basic API e-services to Myinfo v5 until further notice.
3. You can continue using your current e-services which are integrated with Myinfo v3 Person-Basic API as normal.
