[25 Feb 2026] Upcoming Changes to SSIC Activity Codes from 9 May 2026

Note: This announcement is for partners who are currently integrated to Myinfo Business and EDH. 

Dear Partners, 

Please note that there will be changes to the SSIC Activity Codes used by Myinfo Business and EDH-TUO, effective 9 May 2026.

Summary of key changes: As ACRA & Singstat is looking to change SSIC Activity Code from 2020 version to 2025 version, there will be some upcoming changes to the code returned from Myinfo Business & EDH. 

• Some existing codes will be merged and mapped to new codes (making the old codes obsolete)
• Some existing codes will be split into multiple new codes
• Code numbers and/or descriptions may change 

Please refer to the full list of changes here for more information. 

Action required: 

1. Review your system's business logic: Ensure your applications can accept the new SSIC codes without affecting your operational processes
2. Prepare for go-live: Systems must be ready to receive new codes from 9 May 2026 onwards

1. What is SSIC? 
   1. The Singapore Standard Industrial Classification (SSIC) is the national standard for classifying economic activities undertaken by economic units 
   2. The SSIC 2020 code can be found below: 
      1. Myinfo Business > Code reference tables (for Entity object) : Refer to SSIC Activity (2020) tab 
      2. EDH-TUO > Code reference tables (for Entity object) :  Refer to SSIC Activity (2020) tab
   3. The SSIC 2025 code can be found here. 
2. How am I affected? 
   1. Your system must be able to process SSIC 2025 codes. Please ensure you do not have business logic validations that would reject new codes, as this could disrupt your operational flow.

3. Will there be updates to existing test personas for testing?
   1. No, there will not be updates to the existing test personas. 
   2. The test personas are designed for integration testing and not logic validation. Since this change affects only the data values and not the data structure, existing test personas remain valid for integration testing

4. When will I start receiving the new SSIC? 
   1. Myinfo Business and EDH-TUO will begin sending the new codes on 9 May 2026.
