Who Needs the Staging Singpass App?
Users integrating with Singpass Login may be required to download the Staging Singpass App for testing purposes.
Note: You only need the Staging Singpass App if you plan to test your Login API via QR authentication. if you are testing the userinfo endpoint or new Myinfo, you do not need the Staging Singpass App. Instead, set your STG API application Authentication type to 1FA and use the provided test accounts with user profiles populated.

Requirements to Use the Staging Singpass App
To use the Staging Singpass App, you will need:
- A Singpass staging test account
- A device with the Staging Singpass App installed
Staging Test Account
A staging test account is required to log into the Staging Singpass App. These accounts function like actual Singpass accounts but exist in the staging environment.
- As part of the OIDC client creation and onboarding process, you may create up to 5 test accounts in the STG environment.
- These accounts do not have any profile data, including mobile number. You can choose to tag a mobile number to it.
- Tagging of mobile number to the test account requested via this form, under tag/retag. Typically, it takes 3-5 workdays for us to complete this request.
- Kindly note that the form is only for tagging/retagging of phone number, and not to request for test account.
Please use the staging test account only for logging into the Staging Singpass App. Do not use your actual Singpass account to log into the Staging Singpass App.
How to Download the Staging Singpass App
There are two versions of the Staging Singpass App: iOS and Android. To download the apps please follow the steps:
Installing the Staging Singpass App on an iOS device
- Download the TestFlight app
- Install the Staging Singpass App via this link
Installing the Staging Singpass App on an Android Device
- Download the Staging Singpass App via this link
- Download and setup the Staging Singpass App on your Android device.
Existing users
If you have previously downloaded and installed the Staging Singpass App (on iOS or Android), you must download the latest version.

Setting up your staging test account
When setting up your Staging Test Account:
1. Enter your staging account username and password.
2. You may be prompted to verify your postal code → Click Continue and request a PIN mailer. You do not need to change the postal code.
3. If you are prompted for an activation PIN, enter: 77712143.
