Users integrating with Singpass Login may be required to download the Staging Singpass App for testing purposes. In order to use the Staging Singpass App, you will need:
Staging Test Account
To use the Staging Singpass App, you need a staging test account. These accounts function like actual Singpass accounts but exist in the staging environment. As part of the OIDC client creation and onboarding process, you may retrieve up to 5 test accounts in the STG environment. These accounts do not have any profile data, including mobile number. Therefore you need to tag a mobile number to it. This can be requested via this form, under tag/retag. Typically, it takes 3-5 workdays for us to complete this request.
Please use the staging test account only for logging into the Staging Singpass App. Do not use your real Singpass account to log into the staging app.
Staging Singpass App
There are two versions of the Staging Singpass App: iOS and Android. To download the apps, raise a request via this form. You will receive an invite to download the app within 3-5 workdays in the email provided.
Note: The Staging Singpass App cannot be installed on the same device as the Production Singpass app. Attempting to do so will result in errors. Please use a different device for the staging app.
Installing the Staging Singpass App on an iOS device
- You will receive an email from "TestFlight" no_reply@email.apple.com
- Download the TestFlight app
- Complete the installation within 30 days of the receipt of the invite email.
Installing the Staging Singpass App on an Android Device
- You will receive an invite from App Center Team <no-reply@mail.appcenter.ms>
- Click on the Signup button and sign in to the App Center with the email account used to request this invite.
- Download and setup the Staging Singpass App on your device.
Note: For Android users, they need to disable auto-update of your apps, because it will update into the production version of Singpass App.
Existing users
If you have previously downloaded and installed the staging app on either your iOS or Android device, you will receive notifications of the new versions of the staging app via your email provided. Refer to the steps above to setup your staging app to the latest version.
Alternatively, you can also retrieve the latest staging app by doing the following these steps:

- For iOS: Go to the Apple Store and download the TestFlight app. If you have previously redeemed the code to download the Staging Singpass App, you will see the latest version of the Singpass app there.
- For Android: Go to the App Center link, login with the email account that you signed up with to the app center. Once logged in, you will be able to find and download the latest staging app.
If you are unable to download the latest app, please raise another request for the Staging Singpass App to be sent to you.
Setting up staging test account
When setting up your staging test account, enter the staging test account details and follow the steps indicated. Please enter the following PIN 77712143 when you are prompted to key in the activation PIN mailed to your registered address as shown below:
